Teterboro School is a post-secondary school that runs full time programs in Aircraft Mechanics.  The classes run Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.  The complete Airframe & Powerplant Course runs 18 months.  Presently, there is no night program available, but plans are already in place to have both an afternoon and evening session operating in the near future.

Holidays and Vacation:

The students enjoy a one week vacation that extends from December 24 through January 1.  In addition, the following holidays are observed:

Martin Luther King's Birthday           President's Day                Good Friday

      Memorial Day                                  Independence Day             Labor Day

      Thanksgiving Day                            Day after Thanksgiving

 

Attendance: 

Students are required to attend whenever school is in session to show satisfactory progress.  Attendance is retained permanently in the student's records.  There are no excused absences approved by the school.  School closings for emergency situations are provided for in the curriculum.  Please consult the school catalog for additional information.

 

Grading:

Students must maintain satisfactory grades while they are in school.  Presently, the School  uses numerical scores. ( i.e. 100, 90 85, etc).  A student needs to achieve a minimum score of 70% in each subject area of the curriculum, to receive a passing grade.
